Joe Sander - President and CEO

Joseph Sander – President and CEO

Joe Sander joined Harmony in 2008 as president and CEO. A 25-year veteran of the technology industry, Joe Sander brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership expertise to Harmony.

Prior to joining Harmony, Joe served as president and CEO of Consul Risk Management. Under Sander's guidance, Consul established itself as a leader in the Forrester “Security Information Management” Wave in 2006 and 2007. Consul was also recognized as the Most Innovative Company in Holland in 2004 by a leading Dutch magazine. Through consistency, predictability, and growth Mr. Sander successfully positioned the company to enter a strategic process that resulted in the sale of the business to IBM Corporation, creating a positive outcome for its investors, founders, and employees.

Mr. Sander has held senior positions at TruSecure Corporation, InSoft, and Computervision Corporation. At TruSecure, Mr. Sander built and managed the infrastructure required to market TruSecure Services worldwide. This resulted in significant revenue growth and an increase of more than 600 customers from 1998 to 2001.

Michael Borton - Chief Financial Officer

Michael Borton – Chief Financial Officer

Michael Borton serves as Harmony's chief financial officer and is responsible for the company's finance, accounting, and administrative operations. He joins Harmony from Consul Risk Management, a leading global security company. During his time there he successfully facilitated the sale of the company to IBM. Borton has held senior management positions with several international technology companies: iSKY (acquired by TRG), Invensys, and Landmark Graphics (acquired by Halliburton). Prior to working in technology, Mike held various senior financial roles at Schlumberger, including assignments in London and Paris.

Mike holds a bachelor's degree from Valparaiso University and an MBA from Indiana University. Borton is a Certified Management Accountant.

Derrick Cobey - Chief Technology Officer

Derrick Cobey – Chief Technology Officer

Derrick Cobey joined Harmony in 2007, and he is currently responsible for research and development and technical operations. Cobey brings 15 years of technology experience to Harmony, including significant software as a service expertise.

Prior to his time at Harmony, Cobey served as chief technology officer of Peopleclick, a leading provider of human resource management solutions. Cobey also served as vice president of product development for Vastera, which was acquired by JPMorganChase. In addition, Derrick held positions at GE Information Services, where he graduated from GE's Technical Leadership Program and was responsible for the management of several software development projects.

Derrick holds an M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Maryland.

Pat Boggs - President and General Manager, Harmony Social Services

Pat Boggs – President and General Manager, Harmony Social Services

Patricia T. Boggs has overall responsibility for the sales and delivery of Harmony's flexible, framework-based solutions, which are used by human services organizations across North America. Pat joined Harmony in 2007.

Before coming to Harmony, Pat led customer operations at Cyveillance, Inc., a leading Internet security company that was purchased by QinetiQ. Boggs also served as senior vice president of worldwide operations for Softlink Solutions, where she was responsible for sales, marketing, and consulting services. Over her career, Boggs has held a variety of senior executive positions with companies including Mercator Software, Inc.; Datalogix; and Digital Paper Corporation.

Pat began her career holding several university and teaching positions, and she has a doctorate in business administration and a master's degree in economics from Kent State University.

John Byer - Vice President, Sales and Business Development

John Byer – Vice President, Sales and Business Development

With more than 20 years of success in strategic revenue growth across multiple industries, John Byer brings a broad range of experience and skills to his role as vice president, sales and business development within Harmony Information Systems. A focus on relationships and the development of deep domain expertise has allowed John to help organizations to exceed goals, to develop and execute strategic plans, and to successfully navigate changing environments.

Through strong relationships at the federal, state and local levels, Mr. Byer has helped push the envelope toward expansion of home- and community-based long-term care models. Mr. Byer has also aggressively influenced the evolution of technology to assure community living organizations have the tools needed to facilitate collaboration, eliminate redundancy, lower costs, and improve outcomes for consumers and their families. Mr. Byer's track record in the insurance and software industries includes proven skills in the development of strong and sustainable revenue growth, building solid and reliable recurring revenue bases, and a strategic focus leading to emerging market opportunities.

John has a B.A. in business administration from Saint Michael's College.

Jeff Book - VP, Customer Success

Jeff Book – VP, Customer Success

Jeff Book serves as Harmony's Vice President, Customer Success, leading the professional services, customer support, training, best practices, and account executive teams. Jeff brings to Harmony more than twenty five years of experience managing support and services operations for leading enterprise software companies.

Book has a consistent track record of enabling customer success, delivering customer focused support and services, and ensuring outstanding customer experiences. He represents the voice of the customer within the Harmony executive management team.

Jeff joins Harmony from Deltek Systems, a large software provider for project-based organizations. As Vice President of Customer Care at Deltek, Jeff managed a worldwide support team of over 170 employees, who supported a broad portfolio of enterprise software products. Prior to Deltek, Jeff held senior support and services roles in highly successful companies such as PeopleSoft, Lyris, and Amdahl Corporation. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the DeVry Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.


Todd Bransford - Vice President, Marketing and Product Management

Todd Bransford – Senior Vice President, Marketing and Product Management

Todd Bransford is responsible for marketing and product management. Todd brings to Harmony more than 20 years of experience in the strategic marketing of packaged software applications.

Prior to joining Harmony, Bransford was vice president of marketing at Cyveillance, a SaaS-based provider of Internet security solutions. Todd also held senior marketing management positions with J.D. Edwards and the Descartes Systems Group. Additionally, over the course of a six-year period, Todd held several product management positions with Best Software.

Todd Bransford holds a degree in economics from Vanderbilt University.
