Government Reporting

Harmony’s Government Reporting Systems—developed in response to specific customer reporting requirements—demonstrates Harmony’s ability to partner with customers to solve complex technical challenges.  Harmony’s NAPIS Reporter and NORS Reporter were each developed to meet the complex reporting specifications of government agencies using automated data extraction tools.

NAPIS Reporter

The NAPIS Reporter extracts data from SAMS to create federal NAPIS reports in the exact format required by the Administration on Aging. The NAPIS Reporter is a reporting system designed to provide Area Agencies on Aging and State Units on Aging with AoA NAPIS Reporting capabilities.

Using the NAPIS Reporter, an AAA organization can easily generate NAPIS reports for review and submission to the state unit. Submission to the state unit is accomplished by sending NAPIS report data generated by the NAPIS Reporter on diskette. The state unit can then compile all AAA NAPIS report files into a state aggregate report for review and submission to AoA.

The NAPIS reporter supports the automated extraction of client counts, demographic
and service unit data from the Service Accounting and Management System (SAMS).
The system also lets users edit report information for those report data elements that do not exist in SAMS or that have not been collected in SAMS by the Agency. Output of NAPIS, reports may be created in hardcopy that has been formatted to AoA specifications, disk file format, or AoA SPR data files for submission to AoA.

NORS Reporter

The NORS Reporter extracts data from OmbudsManager to create federal NORS reports in the exact format required by the Administration on Aging (AoA). These reports may be edited online. The system automatically creates the transmittal files required for transmission to AoA. Licensing for the NORS Reporter is included with OmbudsManager.
