BeaconWEB offers a web-based deployment of BeaconIR resource data, hosted by AGIS. With one click of the familiar Beacon interface, authorized users can publish their current local information and referral (I&R) resource information to consumer-friendly Web pages.
BeaconWEB has comprehensive search tools that allow an internet user to search resources by keyword, organization name, service category, or location. Search results and resource information are presented in an intuitive, easy-to-understand layout. Information on BeaconWEB is accessible by assistive technology services, such as screen readers, and compliant with accessibility standards so that users will be able to find resources on a Web site.
BeaconWEB and SAMS IR offer comprehensive automation for I&R programs, and is customizable for any community service offering. Additionally, as part of Harmony's integrated Aging Suite, SAMS IR offers the opportunity to integrate case management with I&R activities, using the SAMS case management system.
BeaconWEB is hosted by AGIS and is easily integrated into any existing AGIS powered Web site. Service organizations that would otherwise spend time and money to develop their own resource directories or maintain multiple copies, now have a viable web-based option to provide clients with unlimited access to services information.
