04.11.2007: Nick Harmon, Senior VP, Harmony Information Systems Named to Board of Directors, Information Technology Association of America (ITAA)
Reston, Virginia, April 11, 2007– Harmony Information Systems, Inc. (Harmony), a leading provider of software products and consulting services for the human services profession, is pleased to announce that Nicholas Harmon has been appointed to the twenty-two-member board of directors of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), State and Local Government Division, Public Sector Group. Harmon is the company’s senior vice president for business development and strategy.
The ITAA Public Sector Group includes representatives from such industry leaders as IBM, EDS, Deloitte Consulting, Accenture and Bearing Point. Other companies represented on the board include MAXIMUS, Unisys and Curam Software.
As a member of the group, Harmon will provide his time, guidance and thought leadership to ITAA state and local policy initiatives and program offerings, based on his more than 20 years as a human services IT professional. The goal of the newly launched ITAA Public Sector Group is to elevate and enhance the role played by the information technology industry in shaping public policy at the state level as it applies to the industry.
